Privacy Policy

ICD Atlas · Effective September 7, 2026

ICD Atlas has no accounts, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Searches, recently viewed codes, settings, and installed classification databases stay on your device.

Information stored on your device

The app stores your selected language, installed language packs, settings, and recently viewed codes locally on your device and in its App Group so the widget can show recent entries. We do not receive this information. Removing the app and its data removes these local records, subject to normal device backups managed by you or Apple.

Language-pack downloads

When you choose to install a language, the app downloads a static database file from hehe.software, hosted through Vercel. Your search text and viewed diagnosis codes are never included in that request.

Like an ordinary HTTPS file request, the download can expose the requested file path (which identifies the chosen language), request time, IP address, and standard device or network information to the hosting infrastructure. Vercel processes this information to deliver and secure the file. We do not use these requests to advertise to you or build a profile of your medical interests. See Vercel's privacy policy.

Optional voice search

If you tap the microphone, the app requests microphone and speech-recognition permission and sends audio to Apple's Speech framework for transcription. Depending on your device, language, and system availability, Apple may process recognition on the device or on Apple's servers. ICD Atlas does not save the audio file or send it to us. Apple's handling is governed by Apple's privacy policy. You can deny either permission and continue using text search.

Optional support

Where available, optional one-time support purchases are processed by Apple. No subscription or access restriction applies. The app verifies transactions locally with StoreKit and does not send receipts to an app server. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide sales and financial reports to the developer; they are not linked to your searches or reference history.

Information we do not collect

Children

The app is a general medical-classification reference and is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Medical disclaimer

ICD Atlas provides reference material only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and is not endorsed or sponsored by WHO.

Changes

If the app's data practices change, we will update this page and its effective date before the change applies where required.
